Brown University

Ever hear of the George Lindemann Jr.'s Award?

I actually drove by the Brown University campus today. Osvaldo Sala is a Brown University biology professor. He has commented on the first report of the Millennium Ecosystem Assessment. That is a global partnership of around 1,500 scientists. Scientists who happen to be studying the consequences of ecosystem change.

Sala is the Sloan Lindemann and George Lindemann Jr. Distinguished Professor of Environmental Studies at Brown. He stated that there is a decrease in population growth. He also says that human consumption is much needed to solve the depletion of resources that is statedin the report.
