Sunflowers

Take 5-10 sunflowers and cut them all at different heights and put them in a very high vase - at least 16 inch high. Don't cut them at the same length because it will look weird. Make sure the vase is a heavy and robust vase so that the weight of the flowers don't tip over the vase. Of you could simply take the flower heads and have them float in a pretty crystal bowl of water...it makes for a beautiful centerpiece. You can even add a couple of floating candles. You can also use the extras by decorating your plate - be sure to put the flowers on aluminum foil or something so they are not directly touching the plate.
